When it comes to extravagance Mariah Carey is no stranger to the word and has recently put a bid on the most expensive property on the open market in Los Angeles, the Fleur de Lys. The 35,000 square foot property lies in the posh Holmby Hills and features 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, a ballroom, 2 kitchens, a massage room, and a 50 seat movie theater, a three bedroom manager’s house plus staff quarters for 10 or more and with Italian marble walls, French limestone floors abd gold embossed leather wall coverings. The price for such luxury? $120,000,000! I’m guessing Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey’s husband will be doing his part and contributing his life savings of $30 to help pay for this monstrosity.


Tom Sizemore Steals Cellphones And A Highlighter

Actor Tom Sizemore was under investigation Thursday for allegedly stealing cell phones and other items from a Verizon Wireless store in Los Angeles. According to TMZ:

Sources tell us Verizon’s security cameras clearly see a man who looks a helluva lot like Tom, along with another man, stealing a handful of phones — including one belonging to an employee. The man believed to be Tom was also busted reaching over the counter to pocket a pen and a highlighter.

Stealing a hightlighter….that is pretty low on the totem pull of crack headed maneuvering. I say if you are down and out and looking for a cheap high….White Out…..it even says its multi-purpose on the label.

Here are a few sad pics of Lisa Rinna protesting to be on the new Melrose Place in Beverly Hills. Recently in an interview with E!, Lisa Rinna was quoted saying:

“Tell them I’m available, ready to go, I’m very professional and hardworking!”
 ”I’m way down on the totem pole,” Rinna acknowledged. “You know, this one doesn’t want to do it, that one doesn’t want to do it, so I’m just hoping that they get down far enough to me, where they’re finally like, ‘Oh, just call Lisa…Just hire her, for God’s sake! Stop her begging!”

Im thinking this is a prime opportunity for every Hollywood director and producer to take advantage of an aging and almost forgotten Hollywood debutante. Its time to dust off that old ‘I think you would be pefect for this role in my new movie’ line.

Chris Brown has one ace in the hole left if he needs Rihanna to stick around to save his career….a SEXTAPE! Star is reporting:

Rihanna allowed Chris to record some of their, um, intimate moments and — she worries that the racy tapes could ruin her — especially after seeing how quickly Chris turned on her once before.

“Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality,” a source tells Star. “But she’d be mortified if her friends and family found this out!”

I really don’t understand why celebrities still continue to churn out sextapes in spite of the every present danger of it being released. Yeah, sextapes can be used as a p.r. tool, but those are usually reserved for people with no talent and undeserving of fame…think Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. But for celebrities who have made it with their talents, this should be a no-no.

Rumors have been circulating around the Internet, that Fox reality show American Idol is actually fixed and the final four have already been picked by the producers. Apparently one of the show’s staffers is making the claim that the last four are going to be Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace. The source goes on to say that producers would prefer either Gokey or Grace win because, despite being the better singers, the other two are too similar to past winners Chris Daughtry and Fantasia. Even their back stories are similar. As much as i’m trying, I really can’t feign interest. This show sucks ass and jumped the shark when they got rid of that awesome asian kid that sang ‘She Bangs, She Bangs’.


RIP Natasha Richardson

Tony-winning actress and mother of 2, Natasha Richardson  has died from the brain injury she suffered while skiing in Canada on Monday. She was taken off of life support early Wednesday. In a statement released to the AP:

“Liam Neeson, his sons (Micheal, 13, and 12-year-old Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” the statement said. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

The statement did not give details on the cause of death for Richardson, who suffered a head injury and fell on a beginner’s trail during a private ski lesson at the luxury Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec. Seemingly fine after the fall, about an hour later she complained that she didn’t feel well.

She was hospitalized Tuesday in Montreal and later flown to a hospital in New York, where family members had been seen coming and going.

This is such a tragic tragic story. Condolences to her family and friends and anyone else affected by her death. May she rest in peace.
