How can there be 121 Springfields in the U.S.? That would mean some states have more than 1 and I don’t think that’s allowed. You must have meant 21.

@Megha….That’s the new intro that say 486.52. The original intro that was around for 19yrs says 847.63. And also in the “138th Episode Spectacular”, Kent Brockman says that it reads “NRA4EVER”. So I think you need to check your facts before you call someone a dumbass…….dumbass.

For the fifteen or so years I watched (I don’t watch any more since it’s never even so much as even smirk-worthy theses days) the cash register didn’t say anything, it was just a red blob.
Ok I had to already post a comment on the very first “fact” on this….Not all of the Simpsons have middle names beginning with J….Lisa’s name is Lisa Marie Simpson….I mean that is a pretty common this to know about the Simsons…..get your facts straight before make a list!

@Schwar…It may have looked like a blur, but from 90-’09 they had that price of 847.63 up. Check any Simpsons trivia site and it will confirm.
