It is well known that Andy Warhol was not very smart.. This does not mean that he was did not have a talent.. Some will argue with that also, if you have ever seen his "art." Part of the fascination with his art was the weirdness that was Andy himself.. As for Ali, it is well known that he had a low IQ. He was at the bottom of his class before dropping out.. I've listened to his interviews, and if you think the jiberish he spoke was a sign of intelligence, yours might be lacking. Having a good personality is in no way a sign of intelligence.. many brilliant people have/had no social skills what so ever.. As for the list with high IQ's, most of these have been pretty well documented through out the years.. Dolph Lundgren has a masters in chemical engineering.. finished first in his class.. He had a Fullbright Scholarship to MIT.. At the same time, his acting career took off, so he dropped out after 2 weeks.. Most that argue with IQ tests legitimacy, are probably average to low IQ, who are butthurt about their score.. Also, the closer one is to average IQ, the less they will be able to differentiate a persons low intelligence by listening to them speak. whereas this would be more noticeable to the ear or mind of someone with a higher IQ. Average to lower IQ scorers are more likely to term something they don't understand as "stupid," or "racist." Yet they cannot produce an actual intelligent argument against it.. IQ tests have been performed all over the world with the poor and downtrodden countries scoring the lowest.. This perhaps explains why these countries are the way they are.. these tests are not designed to determine how much one has learned in school, they tests ones ability to learn and reason.. Finally the racist card. There is a difference in IQ score and ethnic background. Asians average a higher IQ than any other race. This has even been tested on Asians adopted by American families. No matter the upbringing, the average is the same. A quick google search will show that Ivy League Universities require higher test scores among Asians than all other races, as to keep entry at a level with their percentage of the population.. African Americans are accepted with much lower scores than Asians and Whites. These statistics can be backed up online.. These stats do not include those of athletes accepted to scholarship, but the general population.. Nature gave us all gifts of survival, with perhaps intelligence being more of a necessity in colder climates. Athleticism being a better necessity in warmer climates full of wild game.. Humans were spread out all of the world, and to assume that are brains developed at the same rate is crazy.. If our physical features and abilities can differ greatly, the same is possible with our brains. Evolution does not happen at the same rate in different climates, and different parts of the world. Important characteristics passed on through survival of the fittest in one part of the world might not be an important characteristic in another part of the world. Many people do not have the IQ to understand these ideas, and it is usually the less intelligent that try to belittle highly intelligent scientist. Even though the Scientist have spent their life studying their field, people with no history or education on that subject want to argue or discredit them, for something they do not understand or cannot grasp. Scientist have been labeled kooks through out history, for ideas that are common knowledge today. Many times because it went against the beliefs of people that were in power at the time. The problem with comment sections on internet blogs and the like, is that most of the people compelled to comment, have no background or actual learned knowledge on what they are commenting about.. The most defensive people, are the ones that feel degraded by the findings.. I'm not Asian, but my feelings are not hurt by the idea that they average higher IQ scores. From my experience, they seem to do better in academics on average. I'm not offended by the idea that blacks tend to be better athletes.. Seems to be a very well proven point in college and professional sports.. It only makes sense, that if different races can be better athletically, then different races could be better mentally.
