Why is the Shining Hallway scene the scariest scene ever!? …and ever and ever?! It’s not scary at all… unless you’re an 8 year old riding your tricycle around a big empty hotel.

Someone forgot to put down Juliet Mills’s performance in “Beyond The Door”.

Her little “WHO ARE YOU?” gave me nightmares, even as an adult.

Did someone forget to put the
‘Alien” chestbursting scene on this list?

“Wait Until Dark” 1967 with Alan Arkin and Audrey Hepburn. The scene where she stabs him and walks across the room and he leaps across to grab her. The theaters used to turn down all the lights so it was pitch black during that part and the audience had to be peeled off the ceiling. Not every scary scene happened after 1980.
