I’ve been seeing posters for The Orphan all over town and as scary as the poster is, the trailer for the movie doesn’t quite hold its own. I consider myself a fan of scary movies and this movie doesn’t look scary at all. The movie looks like a rehashing of “The Good Son’ and ‘The Omen’. I’ll take a wild guess and say that the little girl is a ghost of some sort. I’ll take The Exorcist and The Shining over this movie any day.
