Miss California, Carrie Prejean can’t seem to get herself out of the spotlight as topless pics of the 21 year old are being shopped around to various media outlets. In a statement made to the Today Show, the traditional marriage defender claimed:
“I am a Christian, and I am a model,” Prejean said in a statement to the Today Show on Tuesday. “I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be … models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith.”
“These attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive,” she said. “While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others’ opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks.”
If she’s gonna portray herself as a moral authority she better make sure she doesn’t have any skanky nude photos of her self out there. Why doesn’t she use all this energy to help someone who really needs it, like sick or underprivileged kids, a women’s shelter or food pantry. Isn’t that what being part of the Miss USA pagent is about?

OK, so she’s changed her mind a few times. Having had naked pictures taken of you does not have bearing on whether or not it’s ok to marry someone of the same sex. You expect people to forgive Clinton for smoking dope in college, but you don’t forgive Bush for drunk driving. Folks, she didn’t say that gay people couldn’t be together, she said they shouldn’t be married. If you knew what marriage was, in a religious sense, you’d understand the difference between marriage in the church, secular marriage, and gay ‘marriage’.
She didn’t claim to be a moral authority, she answered someone’s dishonest question honestly. As Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
She never held herself up as the moral authority, she merely stated her opinion which happens to be the SAME as Pres. Obama and the vast majority of the country by the way. It’s too bad an aging queen got all offended and bitchy about it.
She is campaigning in Washington to ‘save’ traditional marriages. I think that is a little bit more than simply stating an opinion
Pretty. Hot.
Ever have someone ask for your opinion, then jump down your throat when you give it to them? If you don’t want the answer then don’t ask the question.
She is a classic hypocrite. Her “I’m a model” excuse doesn’t make her free from charges of being a soft porn star who helps tempt men and hurt traditional marriages that she seems so keen on defending. Why do any of us even care what she says!?
Ugh… Do you people really beeive what you write? Moral Authority? Can you seriously look at yourself in the mirror and say those words and make yourself beleive it? She said that it was “her belief” that marraige should be between a man and a woman. Did it cost her the crown? Maybe, but how will we ever know? She answered the question, as asked, and now she is being completely vilified for doing so.
Those who scream for tolerance of others’ alternative lifestyles are showing some extreme intolerance to those who don’t necessarily agree.
As far as a “softcore porn” star…. you need to back off of the caffeine. A topless photo, or a few, is a stretch to softcore porn star. Give me a break.
“You expect people to forgive Clinton for smoking dope in college, but you don’t forgive Bush for drunk driving.”
Let’s review, the number of people who died last year from people sitting at home smoking pot? 0
The people who died as a result of drunk driving? A hell of a lot more.
You cannot compare ANY form drugs done at home with driving while under the influence (be that influence pot or alcohol)
One only hurts yourself, the other risks killing tons of innocent people who are on the road.
One is a sign of irresponsibility (getting high at home)
One is a sign of stupidity and disregard for human life (driving under the influence)
(and for the record, I don’t do any drugs, and I consider Alcohol just another drug)

Marriage means so much more than what she may believe based on her religion. Marriage is the way we assign our legal rights to our loved one (or in the case of a loveless marriage, our person of choice). Until same-sex marriages are legalized, gays will not be equal under the law.
I really don’t care what a person does under the guise of their religion (as long as it does not involve harming others, human sacrifices, or raping kids). But we do NOT live in a religious society – our government and this society are based on secular laws. So, if a religion deems marriage to be man/woman, fine. But do NOT restrict the rights of others because your flawed 2000 year old book (give or take a millennium) claims some are more equal than others. Your church forbids same sex marriages? Fine – don’t perform them. No divorce (unless you pay s**tloads of money to the church)? No problem – don’t allow them. No blacks/gays/Irish/rutabaga-eaters per your bible? No problem, don’t let them join. But don’t restrict others because they are black, or gay, or Irish, or love rutabaga.
Enjoy your religion. I will fight for your right to practice it. But don’t force it on others.
Tom Woolf I think you just hit the nail on the head.
The homos/liberals shouldn’t have asked her a question if they didn’t want an answer. They just didn’t like her answer and graded her accordingly.
Miss California is absolutely stunning and I would like to be her doormat if she would so grace me with her presence. At least I’d get to check her out twice a day, if you get my drift…
Hey Al-
It wasn’t a homo or liberal who decided to ask the question you genius. It was the pageant question picker. Congrats, you look like a door mat already. How does it feel?
And by the way, she supports traditional marriage, but not traditional breasts? I would prefer a tolerant and chill a-cup chick over a hateful and fake be itch any day.
What she should do is help all the poor, under priveledged, small boob girls of the world, in their noble plight to be an oh-so respected fashion model. Thats how you save the world. One fake juggy at a time.
She’s quickly become one of the most known Miss USA pageant contestants ever.
Just think of how many people out there know about her response that never even watched the pageant or even gave a shit about the pageant in the first place.
If she can know use this 15 min of fame in a positive manner (which I think would be your morally responsible act), then more power to her regardless of her or anyone else’s opinion of homosexual marriage.
TRUTH HURTS – “It wasn’t a homo or liberal who decided to ask the question you genius. It was the pageant question picker.”
So are you saying Perez Hilton is NOT a homo or a liberal? The truth hurts, is it right to ask someone their opinion and if you get an answer you don’t agree rip them apart. I applaud Carrie Prejean for having the guts to answer the question and not cracking like a twig because someone asked her a loaded question. How about we ask all the women and the judges who compete questions on their opinions before we let them participate questions on religion, sex, politics etc. This way we can eliminate those that don’t fit with our thinking. I can care less what Carrie Prejean stated in her opinion of legalizing homosexual marriage whether for it or against it – doesn’t matter.
sexy update!
That ladyboy should have never asked the question to begin with. My advice if you hate her, grab your box of tissues, rent Milk and Broke Back Mountain and have a nice cry.
