Guitar maestro and former Guns N Roses axeman, Slash, has done the unthinkable and has jumped on the American Idol bandwagon and is currently mentoring the top four contestants for this week’s rock theme. Blabbermouth.net reports Alice Cooper guitarist Keri Kelli will join Slash for his AI mentoring role next week, though no other details were given about the rocker’s appearance. Its a really sad state of affairs when a guitar god like Slash is teaching Danny Fu*kin Gokey how to be rock. I’m going retire my Use Your Illusion poster from the wall now.
