Bad boy extraordinare Dennis Rodman has been ordered to pay $225,000 to a Hard Rock Hotel beverage manager who said the former basketball star grabbed her, forced her to dance with him and slapped her buttocks in March 2006. According to RadarOnline:
The default judgment came Monday in Las Vegas after Rodman failed to respond to several complaints served against him. U.S. District Judge Robert Jones handed down the default judgment in less than five minutes. Rodman was not present at the hearing.
Not a fan of Dennis Rodman, but $225k?!?! That is just absurd. Maybe throw him out and $500 tops. No wonder we are such a litigous nation. You can get sued for six figures for anything.
