Freddy Kruger is getting a new face as New Line Cinemas has tapped Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchmen) to don the signature striped sweater and glove, in their new remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. I really don’t know why they didn’t get Robert Englund to play the part again. They guy scared me sh*tless when I was a kid. There’s been a lot of remakes being hashed out recently and none have stood on par with the originals. Lets just hope they fill the movie with gratuitous violence, sex and nudity…the three crucial elements to any good horror film.
