Academy Award nominated actress, Keira Knightly filmed a spot about the dangers of domestic violence, in which she gets beaten by a fictional boyfriend who believes she is having an affair, for the charity Women’s Aid. Asked about why she filmed the ad, she responded:
‘I wanted to take part in this advert for Women’s Aid because while domestic violence exists in every section of society we rarely hear about it.”
I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of Keira but she gets all my admiration for bring this Chris Brown/Rihanna situation to the front of everyone’s minds. Domestic Violence is a real problem and needs to be brought into the forefront of American consciousness.

I dig Keira Knightley but it doesn’t take her making a PSA to put domestic violence toward the front of my mind. I’m NO fan of Rihanna but what Chris Brown did to her is inexcusable. What kind of a pussy do you have to be to hit a woman? This isn’t the WWE and Rihanna isn’t exactly gonna kick a mans ass any time soon. Chris Brown is a piece of s*** and I don’t care how you slice it. I’ve been pissed at women before but I’d rather put my fist through a wall then punish someone else just because I can’t find a better way to deal with my anger. I can fix a hole in the wall or some other inanimate object I might happen to break but I can’t fix a human being. If I could, I’d start with myself.
